Species Rules
Night Crawler
- The Leader of the Coven must be obeyed and respected at all times.
- A Night Crawler may have one special power (telepathy, extra speed, extra strength) along with your normal vampire powers.
- Night Crawlers are immortal, but when dismembered, and decapitated, they will die.
- Females cannot give birth, unless they have been turned from a Gifted or Shifter. Even so see the separate rules for this.
The Gifted
- The Clan Leader must be respected and obeyed constantly.
- Spiritually Gifted must have consent if they plan to 'posses' another character's body, their own body becomes a lifeless shell and collapses when they enter another.
- They can prolong their life to 300 years by magic, no more.
- The Gifted can only house one type of magic within their body (elemental, spiritual, refigure, healer).
- To be turned they must be at least injected with venom, drained of almost all their blood and drink the blood of the person that is turning them.
Shape Shifters
- The Shifter Alpha must be given respect and obedience unconditionally.
- They may only have one animal form which you can shift to, and their eye colour must be the same.
- A Shifter only takes on the power of that animal naturally, and only while in that form. Otherwise, they are normal humans, apart from heightened senses of hearing, sight and smell.
- Age limit is 115, they age slowly in appearance, but when they reach the age of about 65, they start to look their age.
- Females give birth to human babies. These children develop the ability to shift when they reach the age of 3 years old.
- To be turned they must be at least injected with venom, drained of almost all their blood and drink the blood of the person that is turning them. Though the drinking of their sire's blood is purely optional.
Half Breeds
- You may not apply as a Half Breed. They must be conceived between two characters of different species. The only way to apply for one is if you are bringing one from version 1
- If they are to be turned and they are half crawler they will keep whatever ability they had before being turned making them have the full ability rather than only half of it. If not then they will be a normal Turned Crawler.
- To be turned they must be injected with venom and drink the blood of someone that is related to them by blood.
- No Half Breed may live pass the age of 258 regardless of their mixed species.
Humans
- The leader must be respected and obeyed at all times.
- Humans have no special powers.
- Humans are mainly kept as servants, slaves and sources of food. How they are treated all depends on their 'owner'. Though a few humans have found their freedom and reside in their respective yet small territory.
- Anything crossed with a human will result in a pure breed of the species. As the human genes are recessive. This is looked down upon in human society as their numbers are already low enough.
- Humans can live up to 100 years old. Though they obviously age normally.
- To be turned is a very painful process. They must be drained of almost all their blood THEN injected with venom THEN drink the blood of their sire. In that order or they will die.
- Being turned by a Turned Crawler might result in death, since they might do it wrong.
- Humans are the only species that MIGHT receive an ability when being turned. Upon Admin approval.
Shifting Gifted
- This is a very new species and due to such there is no leader, as their numbers are very low. Upon Admin approval to create one.
- They look like normal Gifted except they can shift into up to five animals. Though the process if very different from Shifters
- When shifting they do not need to feel an emotion but simply think of the animal form; then instantly they are that animal
- The blue flame merely acts as a source of healing and can only be one in their human form. The flames do not however stop them from being hurt.
- Their genetic make up is unstable and they do die young; due to complications of basically anything. Even a common cold. Though if they were to thrive they might live to be 415 years old.
- To shift they must have been in the presence of the actual animal they are thinking of. So most forms are limited. You start out with one form and every form after that must be approved by the admin.
- Like humans this subspecies of Gifted are treated as servants.
- Unlike the original Shifters, shifting gifted CAN NOT talk while in their animal form.
- Unlike original Shifters, they can shift as young as 6 months though this is random.
- Due to their genetics, Shifting Gifted will not turn into a turn crawler but in fact simply just die; unless they are injected with venom; drained of almost all their blood and drink the blood of at least two pure breed crawlers. Meaning those with powers.
Spirit
- Spirits can only be created from those that have died on Version 1 or on Admin approval version 2. It must be your own character or if you want to recreate a character that is not yours it has to be completely different from the original.
- A spirit's age is calculated from when they are brought back. Not how old they were when the person died.
- To possess people you must have that persons permission and even then the person can fight against the spirit.
- Only telepaths and spirituals can tell if a person is possessed without talking to them. Obviously if they are talking odd or acting different than normal they are possessed. Appearances do not change what so ever.
- Spirits can not have sex unless they are possessing a body and even then it is the person that is possessed genes.
